In 1983, before Pastor Terry D. Harris was ordained to be head pastor of Family Union Missionary Christian Church. He and his lovely wife First Lady Deborah L. Harris were members under the leadership of the late Pastor Joseph A. Roberts and his wife Ola Mae Roberts. Pastor Roberts started the church out of his home in Dallas, TX. Alongside him was his faithful deacon, Chris Williams. A lot was purchased in 1991, to build a church house, but the Lord had a different plan.
Unfortunately, Pastor Roberts plans to build a church home did not come into fruition
before his passing in 2007. Thankfully, his son, Pastor Terry D. Harris continued with his father’s vision. In 2010, the home for Family Union Missionary Christian Church was obtained. After years of laboring, a holy place where all could worship, and fellowship was completed under the leadership of Pastor Harris, in 2013.
Pastor Terry Harris, with his help meet by his side, First Lady Deborah Harris, continues to teach the gospel according to the Word of God at FUMCC. Always bearing in mind these words: For Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever, AMEN.
